They tell me time is a healer
I tell them so is sleep

Phoenix watch works: a lovely name!
And all you fellow twisted-brains, a horologist is a person skilled in making time pieces.

Also notice the movie poster announcing the show timings on the right. I found it mildly amusing (and ironic) that the closed watch shop (I cannot recall having seen it open) is next to a movie hall which runs by the watch like a clockwork.

I have been reading your blog for a long time and your ability to match your pictures with beautiful poetry is absolutely sublime. You use only a few words that bring out the essence of the picture so perfectly, that the poem-picture combination becomes an exquisite piece of art. And you only keep getting better each time !! Kudos to you !!!

Ah this India. There no such notices/signs anywhere in the world. You make an ageing ex-backpacker want to return...despite the guesthouses. She remembers them, she was about to say, well - not fondly might be better...

Thanks Ritesh!

Thanks for dropping by Kairi!

Hi! I hope that dear granny can pay us a visit soon :)

Deepak, I've just visited your blog half an hour after reading an Australian one which posted the very same picture gracing the cover of the music you're listening to...

I think (without any reasonable explanation) that we should pay attention to coincidences. Best wishes to you, anyway.

Sweet! thanks for sharing this Deirdre!!

Deirdre, coincidences and deepak are synonymous and seem to notice each other every other time, Mention 17 to Deepak and he will list them in chronological order.
